Spirit captures my life at a place where I didn’t know how to approach the artistic direction for my album as well as my personal life. I was stuck in a cycle of bad habits and hardly left the house.

With a sudden burst of creativity at 2 am, I created the demo in one night and realized how special it was for the foundation of my album. All of the sudden I found new sonics and sounds to use within my music. This was the first demo that I felt confident for my album, and it cinematically made my music feel larger than life. That’s where that title comes from.

Although I was stuck in a mold infested apartment battling respiratory infection after respiratory infection, the song created a sense of freedom for me.
