Peter Bjorn and John played a show at The Metro. We were there to interview them right after their soundcheck. It was there that we ran into Hollywood Holt, who was going to join them onstage during "Nothing To Worry About". He was joking around with us that we don't call him anymore... Well, the next day the Warren G tour rolled into town with opening acts CurT@!n$, U-N-I and Kidz In The Hall. Naledge reached out to us about a Closed Session with CurT@!n$, and we immediately thought about pairing him with Hollywood Holt. Holt said he was down provided a ride to the studio, so we picked him up and met everyone at SoundScape. U-N-I heard the Mano produced joint and wanted to jump on, and "So Cold" was born.
