“J.E.T.S. put in an “X” in the middle, rubyhornet.com… everything I drop is the bomb.”
And with those words, Closed Sessions was born. We didn’t necessarily know what we had when we started, but by the time Curren$y finished recording “Rapper Weed”, we knew we had something. It’s been over a decade since its 2009 release, and “Rapper Weed” remains one of our most popular and quoted records. We’re proud to continue our 45’ series with this limited edition pressing of one of our most beloved and significant releases.
The 45 contains the original and instrumental versions of “Rapper Weed”, and is limited to 400 copies. The 45 also includes new artwork by Spectacular Diagnostics.

Yeah
Jets
Put a 'X' in the middle, rubyhornet.com Everything I drop is the bomb
Found my morning in the bottom of a bottle of Don Perignon
Weed and toothpaste on her breath as she stretch and yawnin
My Polo pillowcase has got her eyeliner on it
I'm high at the moment and everyone came before it
I know a pretty Cali girl who licensed to grow it
Sent to me from a dispensary
Jets in the club fool, it ain't a mystery
Middle of July, Spitta lightin up Christmas tree
Supervillain style, disappearing in a smokescreen
Really a good guy, you'll see if you get close to me
We so slanted eyed, people thinking we both
Probably woulda never said nothing, glad that she came and spoke to me
Woulda missed out on something that was good so appropriately
Destination the moon as if you tryna go wit me
You a fly girl so I'll put you where you supposed to be
Yeah, now where we going baby?
Got my windows down, sun roof open, baby
I ain't stingy with my trees, you can keep on rolling baby
This that rapper weed though, be careful how you smoke it baby
Yeah, I told ya now ya choking baby
Got it from my partner he stay out there in East Oakland baby
I ain't stingy with my trees, you can keep on rolling baby
This that rapper weed though, be careful how ya smoke it baby
Purple hazed and confused
The girls like Spitta, he always in the mood
Pothead might be too high to come and scoop
But if you get a ride to my place, a second I will not waste
Put my hands on yo waist, cause yo face pretty
We gon have to put it in a pillow for me to get busy
Hurt for a minute, deal wit it, you’ll like it
I’ll roll that pain killer medicinal, when we finished we’ll light it
Call ya girlfriend, tell her in bed I’m a animal
MacGyver smoker, I build a bong out a cantaloupe
Bose system playin "Copa Cabana" by Barry Manilow
The captain of the Jets, bitch where can’t I go?
Burn it down til it ain’t no mo
Unlimited stock so that stoppin ain’t gon happen though
Roll another one and letcha keep it
Smoke and reminisce about the bomb ass rapper and his bomb ass reefer
Yeah, now where we goin baby?
Got my windows down, sun roof open, baby
I ain't stingy with my trees, you can keep on rolling baby
This that rapper weed though, be careful how you smoke it baby
Yeah, I told ya now ya choking baby
Got it from my partner he stay out there in East Oakland baby
I ain't stingy with my trees, you can keep on rolling baby

Big Al, Best Dressed Demons, Hell On Earth Pt. 2, The Fly Who Couldn’t Fly Straight….this album is ridiculous. isaiahanthony47
This by far the illest one.. Westside been on a running streak of his own with all the albums finished this year alone… We are definitely living in a time where history is being made. Big ups to Gunn, let’s give this mf his flowers 💐 a5vpjams
The reunion of Mach-Hommy and Westside Gunn is one that was overdue but well worth the wait. West's curational abilities are on point here as the beat selection is fantastic and Mach-Hommy delivers several amazing performances whether he's dropping intricate lyrics or singing. His usual embrace of his Haitian identity and Haitian Creole is the cherry on top, giving "Pray For Haiti" Mach's personal touch/flair. stef
