This track was recorded in September when we brought Emilio Rojas in for a Dimes and Dozens. Pairing him up with Scheme and Astonish seemed like a very natural move, and this is actually the first artist-collaboration that we planned. Scheme and Astonish came to the studio with Dario's production and the concept of sacrifice vs. reward. Emilio gravitated towards it immediately and "Helluva Year" was born.
