"Fresh Academy" was recorded on the Saturday of Lollapalooza, and what a hectic day it was. Kidz In The Hall were in Chicago to finish their album, The Land of Make Believe, while Chip Tha Ripper was here to link up with Kid Cudi, who was playing at Lollapalooza. We thought it would be great to do a Closed Session with them since it was Naledge who first introduced us to Chip. Mikkey Halsted happened to be on his way to The Shrine to celebrate his birthday and just happened to stop by. He heard the track, and was hooked. Donnis came aboard later on, and we included his verse in this edition. A version of this without Donnis will also appear on Kidz In The Hall's new album.
